I watched “Mask”. It is comedy and romance movie.
Stanley is the main character of this movie. He is very kind but he is not so clever and he is very shy man. He is clerk.
One day he met a pretty and sexy woman. Her name is Tina, and she works in a night club named “Coco bongo”. She is very charming and Stanley fell in love with her. Stanley go to party because Tina dance and sing in the party. But he could not get in to the room because he has not so much money. He is ejected by a big guard.
After that, he fined an old mask in the river took it to home. He put on the mask to his face, and he transform to a strange man whose face is green and suit is yellow. He got a tremendous power by put on the Mask. He could not believe these things, he thought it was a dream which was happened last night. But he believed gradually, and he was afraid of it. He threw the mask away many times, but the mask returned to his house.
He put on it again, and he went to the bank and robbed money because he wanted to attend the party and wanted to see Tina.
Stanly could attend the party, and he saw Tina. She was dancing and singing, and Stanly danced with her.
Next day, he was arrested because when he caused bank robbery, he was recorded by surveillance camera.
Finally, Stanly fight with Dorian and he win to Dorian. And Stanly go together with Tina.
I watched this movie when I was a junior high school student. My old brother borrowed the movie from TUTAYA. But I couldn’t remember the story. So I borrowed the movie from GEO. I could enjoy this movie this time too. It was the best comedy movie which I have ever seen. [ 323 words]

Romeo & Juliet

Romeo and Juliet was a play written by William Shakespeare who was an English dramatist and poet, and who was the best English writer of English literature. He was also well known as writing the four best tragedy of him, which were Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, and King Lear.

In first day, Romeo (Leonardo DiCaprio) met Juliet (Claire Danes) in the masquerade which was held by Capulets but they were rival house and knew that each other. However, they fell in love at first sight each other and promised getting married. In second day, they got married but Romeo saw Mercutio (Harold Perrineau Jr.), one of his friends, killed by Capulets, so he killed Tybalt (John Leguizamo) who was a cousin of Juliet and he was deported on a court order. In third day, Juliet went to take advice from Friar Lawrence (Pete Postlethwaite). To succeed in their love, she once accepted getting married with Paris (Paul Rudd). After that, she took a drug to be state of apparent death. Friar Lawrence thought that he sent to Romeo to tell a plan that their going to Manture after she woke up, but he was not able to accept the letter. In the last day, Romeo kissed Juliet who slept by a drug and she woke up but he got something wrong and thought she was dead, so he decided to suicide by drinking poison. However, she didn’t die and found his dead, so she despaired and also decided to die.

School of Rock

I watched “School of Rock” made by Richard Linklater in 2003. This movie is comedy and the main character is Jack Black (as Dewey Finn).
He loves rock very much and has a passion to rock. However, He was fired from a bind and he spent dull time whole a day, but he heard news that a private school needed a teacher in stead of the former. He wanted a job, so he agreed the request. The school was very a famous school and the principle was very strict to keep the school well. He became a homeroom teacher, but he suffered from the atmosphere of the class. One day, he saw that the students playing their instruments well in a music room. He was moved the scene and asked them to play rock music. At first, they didn’t like rock, what is worse, some student were not interested in rock. Then he decided to force them to like rock and make a rock band with them. Their hearts got wilder and wilder. Everyone was in the rock world. The project went well, but it ended up wasted by a notifier. He gave up his goal and returned to the fallen life again, but pupils came to his house to wake him up and join a rock music competition. Although their team didn’t get the first prize, but the team got very popular and the schoolmaster got happy so much. After that, he enjoyed his life with teaching and playing rock.
I was impressed this movie. Recently, I started playing guitar, so I could learn a lot of things from this movie. I would like to buy this movie. And I would like to be good guitar player. [288words]

Shrek

Shrek is an American movie, which is a fantasy, comedy, adventure story in 2001. Also, the movie was a full CG animation film and the story is based on a picture book written by William Steig’s in 1990. This movie is the first film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated. The award was introduced in 2001.
Shrek (Mike Myers) is a large, scary, green monster who lives a quiet life in his home in a swamp, but this life is disturbed when he help Donkey (Eddie Murphy) who is talkative and who escapes from his owner. Donkey can talk with people so his owner tries to sell him because soldiers of Duloc buy some rare goods and animals. The Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow) gets involved in ruling a “perfect kingdom” and uses the Magic Mirror to select a princess bride who he can marry in order to become the king. He chooses Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz). She is captive in a castle where a Dragon lives. The Mirror tries to warn Farquaad about Fiona’s secret, but Farquaad ignores it.
Farquaad holds a tournament to select a knight worthy rescuing Princess Fiona, but then Shrek and Donkey break into the tournament. Farquaad orders the knights to kill Shrek but Shrek fights them and defeats them, so Farquaad decides that Shrek is the knight because he is the winner of the tournament. Shrek rejects the order once, but he decides to go to rescue Princess Fiona in order to remove fairy tale creatures which are in his swamp now from his swamp.
When they get to the castle, a rickety bridge is in their way to enter the castle. They begin to cross but Donkey is afraid to cross, so Shrek forces him to move back and finally stepping off. When they enter in the castle, they split up to look for Princess Fiona. Donkey finds the stairs, so Shrek remembers a book which said princess is in the highest room of the tallest tower. On the other hand, Donkey also searches for Princess Fiona, but he runs into the dragon which is fire breathing and which is guarding her, so Shrek and Donkey run away but the dragon chases them. They manage to catch the dragon and Shrek attempts to kill the dragon but Donkey protects the dragon, so the dragon, which is actually female, loves him. Finally, they find Princess Fiona and go back to the kingdom.
On the way to the kingdom, Shrek gets falling in love with Fiona and she also loves him, but she has a secret. It is that she is also ogre actually in night. She tries to say that to him but he gets something wrong, so he gets angry and thinks she considers that he is ugly ogre. Therefore, he forces to take her to the kingdom. He wants to get back to his swamp. Donkey knows Fiona’s secret so he blurts out her secret but Shrek remains refusing to hear.
After that, Shrek lives in his swamp as before. Donkey can’t stand keeping the secret and leaving them so he tells Shrek the secret and what Fiona loves him truly. He finds that, he rushes to Farquaad’s castle to stop their wedding but he isn’t able to make it in time. Then, Donkey whistles so Dragon appears and takes Shrek and Fiona. Farquaad realizes that Shrek loves Fiona truly and begins laughing. Then Fiona shows Shrek her true figure, which is ogre like Shrek. Farquaad is surprised and he offers to kill them. Shrek whistles so Dragon appears again and she swallows Farquaad. Shrek tells Fiona that he truly loves her and they share a kiss that turns Fiona into an ogress all the time.
At the last, Shrek and Fiona get married.
I watched “Shrek” for the first time. It was very interesting and funny movie. Shrek is very reliable creature. So if I could see Shrek, I would like to be his friend. [665words]

Toy Story

Toy Story is a popular movie in Disney films. This movie is composed of computer graphics. It was released by Disney in 1995. The director of it is John A. Lasseter. Then, the genre of it is animation. Andy, Woody, Buzz and so on are characters of Toy Story. Among them, Andy and Woody are main characters of it. Incidentally, it made 3 hundred million and 6.2 million dollars in the world.
Andy, an owner of toys, gets a new toy one day. It is Buzz, Space Ranger. He is the latest one of all Andy's toys. Therefore, he has a lot of functions which they had never seen. Andy gets to like him about such as qualities and looks. Woody, his favorite toy, thinks he is the most favorite toy of all Andy's ones. However, Buzz becomes his favorite toy. Then, Woody is dissatisfied with it. He does various things in order that Andy gets to like him better than Woody.
In Toy Story, there were 2 interesting scenes for me. The one is that Andy's toys moved and talked each other only when he went to bed. There was an unspoken understanding, which is that his toys mustn't remind people that they can move and talk, among them. Therefore, they kept the secret. Personally, I thought they were great about it. If I were them, I would reveal the secret someday. The other is Woody's behavior after he got Buzz. Woody held his ground desperately. This was very impressive for me. Then, when I watched the scene, I thought I knew how he felt.
Toy Story was made for children. Of course, however, adults can enjoy its story enough. I learned the importance of friendship by watching this movie. If you have never watched it, I recommend you to watch it once. I think you will learn something from it. [312 words]
