Book review 13 "In the Garden"

I read “In the Garden”. It was very interesting for me. This story was wander story. I like wonder story so I could enjoy this book.
In this book, Kipper, Chip, Biff, Wilf, Wilma, are appearing.
They played in the sandpit. Kipper went to the Chip’s room and he found Magic Key. This key has strange power and if people use this key power, they can do a lot of thing. Chip has the key, and the key was bright suddenly!! He goes to his friends place. Biff understands what she does, but it was late. Every child got smaller.
When I read this part, I remember “Doraemon”. He is character of comic. He is a cat but he has not ear. Every time he helps the leading character. Doraemon has an instrument which named “small light”. If people use it, people can be very small.
These children have some strange experience, in the field. They me a lot of problem, but they survive with their friends ship.
He met a big cat. The size is very big, because these children also very small. They were attacked to the cat. They run away to inside the bottle. They were surviving.
After that they find some strawberries. These are very big, so they can eat it since they were fullness.
I thought it looks very interesting, because if we can small, we could a lot of food many time. If I am small, I would like to eat banana. Finally they were able to be normal size people. The enjoyed the strange experience.
I thought if I could smaller, it is very danger for me, because there are a lot of enemy at the out side, but it looks very interesting. So I would like to smaller once a time. (299 words )

Book review 12 "Quiz Night"

Today, I read “Quiz night”. It was very interesting for me. In this story, some people are appearing. Ji-sung, Gemma, John, Mr. Becker, Daniela are. This story has a lot of question, so it was very exiting for me. I like quiz, so I could enjoy this story.
At first, Daniel, John, and Ji- Sung are looking a poster. The poster says, “a quiz Night is held in next Saturday.” And if a person wins this game, the person gets some pizza ticket. So they are very happy. John invites Ji- Sung to this Quiz night because he is very clever. Ji- Sung thinks I can win this game!!
I think it is the grat thing that they can get some pizza if Ji-Sung win the Quiz night. In Japan, there is not this party. So I wpuld like to take part in this Quiz Night. But I am not so smart, so per harps I will get some pizza ticket.
Ji Sung did not answer the Quiz, because John was tell the Question to Ji- Sung. I think Ji Sung is having very strong justice mind. So he can not allow John.
I thought Ji-Sung is very cool, because he has strong mind. I would like to be a man like him. (213 words)

Book review 11 "Don't be silly"

I read “Don’t Be silly.” It was not so interesting. I could not understand this story’s mean. In this story, some people appear. They are Nadim, Mrs. May, Anneena, Wilf Biff, and so on. It was wander story.
I thought Mrs. May is very good hunch, because they distinguish that the anake is plastic.
This story is unfolded in a school; there is a teacher and some students. They play ground and they try to deceive their teacher. But their teacher is very clever so she was not deceived.
When I was junior high school student, some student deceived teachers. Sometimes I also join the mischief. We were angry by teacher. But it was very interesting memory.
In this story, some animals appear. First time, it was student’s mischief, but gradually some real animal was appearing. They could not understand these situations.
So the teacher pursues these animals to out side. But she fails.
I like wonder story, but I could not understand this story. If I have another chance I would like to read this book. I think this story contains some joke!!
And I thought mischief is bad thing, so we must not mischief another people. (198 words)

Book review 10 "What was it like?"

I read “What was It Like?” today. It was interesting but a little sad story for me. Biff, Chip, Gran, Wilma, Wilf, and so on are appearing in this story. I could learn Peace is very important and we must not cause a war ever.
Children are going part in a play. Biff and Chip also must training of the play. They look forward to the play. Biff’s grand mother watched the training. She was amazed with the Biff’s cloth because she had seen the cloth when she was a child. Biff explains about the cloth. “This cloth was worn at World War Two”. Biff’s grandmother could remember her memory from these clothes.
Grandmother explains about gas mask to other children, Wilma and Wilf. She says “we had to wear these gas masks at school every day.” They were amazed.
Biff did not like these old clothes because it is not useful and it is not fashionable for her. I could understand her mind because I also don’t like old clothes. I like useful and fashionable clothes. But in these days, a lot people could not wear the fashionable cloth, and they must wear used cloth or repaired clothes. Sometimes I sold my clothes to used cloth shop even it was new. So I thought I must treasure my cloth.
These children could not understand the people of the wartime, because they have not experience of wartime. So they start fool. Some children warned to these cause. Grand mother says that the war terrible time for everyone, so you must not fool the thing. These children were regretting the act. They felt sorry about these people.
I also have not experience of wartime, I did not know about the war not so much. But I watched a lot of television program and movie about the war. It was terrible. A lot of people were killed, and a lot of people were poor. I could learn about the war a little. I thought war destroy a lot of thing and kill a lot of people. And these wars not create anything. My grad father told me a lot of thing about war. He also experiences a lot of terrible thing. (369 words)

Book review 9 "Pocket Money"

I read “Pocket money” Today. It was very interesting for me. There are six people in this story. Dad, Mum, Biff, Chip, Kipper are appearing in this story. They are family and Biff is the main character of this story.
Biff is a girl. Biff Family come to camp and Dad impose some jobs to their children. These are job which will be useful to their camp. Dad says “If you finish your job, I will give you some money. Each child does their jobs reluctantly.
When I read this part, I remember that I went to camp with my family when I was very small, and I was elementally school student.
I didn’t know how to picnic so my father teaches me a lot of thing. I learned a lot of thing for example, how to cook, how to cook rice, how to fishing, and so on. It was very valuable memory for me. Maybe my family’s friends also went to the camp. We were played and it was also interesting for me. I would like to go to camp some day.
After their job, they go to beach the beach was cold and windy so they did not sit on the beach. They played at the each game. Biff look for shell, and she find a strange rock. It is a rock with spiral pattern in it. She shows the rock to Dad and Chip. “You’ve found a fossil, “said Dad. Biff found a fossil, and she was happy. She wanted good fossils. But she can not find another one. They go back to camp.
I could under stand Biff’s mind. I also looked for a lot place to find a fossil. When I was elementally school student, I interested in dinosaur and so I wanted a dinosaur fossil. My friend has a little fossil, so I envied the friend. After that, I looked for a lot of place like cliff and beach. But I could not find some fossil. I would like to get some fossil some day.
On the way of go back to camp, they go to a shop. In this shop, there are a lot of interesting things. The shop sold shells and toys.
In this shop, Biff found some fissile for sale. It was very beautiful for Biff, so she wanted these fossils. But these are very expensive; she has not enough money to buy the fossil.
After that, Biff had an idea. “If I do everyone’s job, I could have enough money.” Biff thought. So she did their entire job, but Dad watched these processes. Dad wanted to impose job to all his children. So he did not allow giving all money to Biff. She could not satisfy to the thing.
When I read this part, I could understand her mind. When I was elementally school student, I had a lot of want thing, but I had not enough money to buy these things, so I asked my parents and I try study and house work to hard. But sometimes, my father did not buy anything. So I was very sad. I am sorry her mind.
But, At last, she could buy the fissile!!
Because she help a cameraman and Dad also allow to buy the fossil. Her brothers also give their money to buy Biff’s fossil.
I was very impressive about this scene. Because the scene is describes Biff’s family love.
I think this story would like to tell that love is important to family.
After I read these books, I could learn a lot of thing. I also have family, and I worried with my family a lot of time. So I should do something which will helpful to my family.
Now I have not job, so I must get job early. (632 words)

Book review 8 "L.A. Detective"

I read “L.A. Detective” today. It was very interesting and exciting story for me. The b
Story is detective story. I like detective story, so I could enjoy it. Five people appear in this story. Theses character is Lenny Sammuel, Frank, and Mr. Blane, Carmen, young man, and so on.
Lenny Samuel is main character. He is a detective and he works in Los Angels. He has a lot of free time and he is not so busy.
One day, a man came to his office. He has gun and he threaten Mr Sammuel with the gun. He asks Mr Sammuel to meet Mr. Blane, but Mr. Sammuel does not like Mr. Blane. So he refuses the suggestion, but Frank takes Mr. Sammel forcibly.
When I read this part, I thought Mr. Sammuel is the courageous man, because he was refused the Frank’s suggestion. Then, Frank has a gun but he didn’t. If I were Mr. Sammuei, I followed to Frank.
And I thought, America is very dangerous country. Japanese could not get gun so easily, but Frank has it. When I went to America, some people have gun. I think it was not so good law that people could have gun.
Mr. Sammuel met to Mr. Blane. He is fat man and very bad man. Mr. Blane asks Len to rescue his daughter. His daughter is abducted by The Young Ones. The Young ones demand Mr. Blane to pay $100 000. Mr. Sammuel does not like Blane, but he would like to rescue his daughter, so he undertakes the ob.
Frank and Len met to Carmen and a young man at the bus station. Frank has $100 000 in his bag. Frank and Len negotiate to young man, but he and Carmen ran away with money and take a bus. The bus’s destination is San Francisco. Mr. Samuel pursues them. He could not understand why Carmen runs away from Mr. Sammuel and go with a young man. He me Carmen in San Francisco and he could understand why she did such a thing. Carmen helped a lot of poor children in the young ones. She could not allow her father’s job, so she planned to rob a lot of money from his father. Finally, Frank and Mr. Blane are arrested by police.
In this story, Mr. Sammuel did a lot of good job.
I think hi is very cool. I would like to be a courageous man like him.
In Japan, there are a lot of detective comic. I like “Conan” the best. It is also very interesting detective comic. Conan is a clever detective, but he is elementally school student. He solves a lot of affairs and problems. This comic was start when I was preschool student, and the story is continuing yet.
I would like to know the last of the story, I think the last is coma gradually, I could not wait!!
I recommend the comic and I would like to know more detective comic. If you know a detective story, can you tell me the name of it?
I will look for the story and read surely. (522 words)

Book review 7 "Alisa"

I read “Alissa” today. It was interesting story, and I could enjoy. In this story, eight people appear. Alissa, her father, her mother, fat man, thin man, his wife, owner, and tall lady.
Alisssa is main character. She likes reading. Her hobby is reading. She would like to go to school, but her family has not enough money, so she can not go to school. Her family is poor, so her father sells Alissa to a fat man. The fat man laughed. Alissa didn’t like him.
When I read this part, I think Alissa’s father is very dreadful. Is he real her father? I thought. If I was her father, I did not such a conduct. I am sorry that Alissa is sold to fat man.
Alissa and the fat man came to the city. Alissa works every day. The life is very bad. Alissa must work fifteen hors a day. Alissa is very unhappy.
I think Alissa was treated as slavery. In the old days, a lot of country has slavery. Past time, Japan also has slavery. It was the bad thing.
One day, Alissa was sold to another owner. She went to clothes shop in the city, and she must work hard there. The shop owner gives Alissa a little money. So she could buy a book. She was a little happy, because at first time, she could not read book.
Finally, a rich lady adopted Alissa. Alissa could reading book and go to school. She was very happy.
It was happy story, so I could enjoy this book. I recommend this book at a lot of people. (270 words)

Book review 6 "Photo Finish"

I read “Photo Finish”. It was very exciting and interesting. It is suspense story. In this story, six people appear. Lisa, Alice, criminal, police, detective, and murderer. I like suspense, so I could enjoy this story.
Lisa works in Black and Sons. It is a large company. She has a very important work. But, it was not very exciting for her. She has a friend named Alice. She also works at Black and Sons. Alice is an artist. Lisa would like have a work, like Lisa’s. Lisa also has interested in art.
Lisa and Alice have a plan to go to Greece at holiday. Lisa guess something exciting will happen.
They must go to the Post Office, because they are going to get their passports the day. Alice call to Lisa, and they promise to go to Post Office.
I think I also would like to go to Greece, because I have interested in historical building. Greece has a lot of historical building, so someday I would like to go to there.
Lisa forgets her photo. She must make her photo because it is need to make her passport.
She makes her photo at old bus station. But she gets a strange photo. The four photos show a murder.
She is fear, and she and Alice tells police the thing.
They are showing the photos to a detective. She knows the man. He is a criminal, so the detective interested in the photo.
Lisa cooperates with police to arrest the murderer. And with her help, police could arrest the murderer. Lisa is safe. So they are very happy.
I think Lisa has strong courage. If I were her, I will refuse the police’s operation. I would like to be a strong man like Lisa. (294 words)

Book review 5 "Lucky Number"

I read “Lucky Number”. It was very interesting for me. And it was a little strange for me. This story was not finished, I think.
In this story, some people are appearing. Charlie, his mother, and a man.
Charlie is main character of this story. He is very poor. He can not go to school because he has not enough money to go to school. He is a shoeshine boy. He works every day. He can shines much kind of shoes, like ladies shoe’s shoes, black shoes, brown shoes, and blue shoes.
He says “Shoeshine! Shoeshine! Ten cents! Ten cents! ” When I read this part, I thought there are a lot of poor children in the world. And I was sorry about it.
A man in a Café calls him, and ask shoeshine. He did it, and a man gives him ten cents. After that, he goes back to the pavement.
After that, Charlie gets a lottery ticket. A well- dressed man buys a lottery ticket from an old man. But the ticket falls out of his pocket. Charlie picks up the ticket. I thought Charlie will get a lot of money with the lottery ticket, but the story finish at half way.
I would like to know the end of this story.

Book review 4 "Sara Says No!"

I read “Sara Says No”. It was very interesting and I could learn honest is very important for me. In this story, two people are appearing. They are Mister Fruit and his daughter Sara. They sell fruit, but sometime Mister Fruit cheat his customer. Sara watched the scene every time and she is not happy. She says “Father, you must not cheat our customers”. But Mister Fruit does not understand her thinking. He says “this is business, Sara”.
When this time, I think Mister Fruit is not honest person, he is liar.
Mister Fruit continue his business. But one day, strange thing was happen. Mister Fruit touch the fruit and the fruit was to be bad. He can not sell his fruit. But after Sara touch the fruit, it was to be good.
After that, Sara sells the fruit and the shop name was changed to “Miss Fruit”.
His father, started helps his daughter. He thought “That is life”. He enjoyed his job.
I read this book and I could learn honesty is very important for us.
I think when I do a business, we need high reliability. I would like to be an honest man. (196 words)

Book review 3 "Billy and the Queen"

I read “Billy and the Queen”. It was very interesting story. There are four people in this story, Billy Parker, Roxanne, Gran, and Queen. Billy is a usually junior high school student, and Roxanne (Rox) is his sister. Grand is their grandmother.
Billy wanted a new bike because his bike is very very old and it has a lot of trouble. When I read this part, I also wanted a new bike. When I go to America (Minnesota), host family lends me a bike, and we enjoyed cycling. After that, I wanted a cycling bike. So I can understand Billy’s mind.
Billy and Rox go to Queen’s place to take a photo with Queen. But they can not take photo with Queen because Queen has a lot of Guard. I also think it is difficult, but I think they have strong courage and curiosity. (144 words)

Book review 1 "Maisie and the Dolphin"

I read “MAISIE AND THE DOLPHIN”. It was very interesting and impressive story for me. Maisie and the dolphin are real friends, I think. I also like animals but my parents were not permit to have animals. Maisie is a human, and Ben is dolphin. But they can communicate each other. I think it was not words but mind. I also think human and animal can communicate each other.
Human killed a lot of animals for their selves, so I think everyone must take care of animals. In the future, I would like to have pets like dog, cat, hamster, and more. And I would like to communicate to these animals.
Some day, I would like to see wild dolphin, because I like dolphin too. (125 words)

Book revier 18 “The Blue Cat Club”

I read “The Blue Cat Club”. It was very interesting story, and I could enjoy this story.
Three people appear in this story, James, Chantal, and Merlin.
James and Chantal lives in a small town near Cannes, and they went to Blue Cat Club. James had heard they can eat and drink and dance in the Blue Cat Club. So they went to there.
There are a lot of people, and James and Chantal drink and eat.
They met a magician. His name is Merlin. He showed his magic to a lot of people. And he makes a fool of James. So he was unhappy then. But James answered to the Marlin’s offence in the Marlines Magic.
I could enjoy this story, because it also happy end. I like happy end.
I have hardly seen the Magic show until now, so I would like to see it someday. (148 words)

Book revier 17 “Anita’s Big Day”

I read “Anita’s Big Day”. It was so interesting. There are three people in this story, Anita, Dan, and, Mr. Stein. Anita is leading character leading character in this book. She would like to be movie star. She has a appointment to meet to Mr. Stein. Mr. Stein is the boss of movie studio. He wants a tall girl.
Dan is a boyfriend of Anita. He loves Anita. So he attempt to take Anita to movie studio. They met a lot of accident on the way to movie studio. But, Dan turns these accidents nicely and excitingly. Mr. Stein watched Dan, and he asked Dan to be a driver in his movie. Finally, Dan and Anita were to e movie star. The story is a little crazy, but it was happy end. I could enjoy this story.
I have a driver’s license, but recently I am not driving. So I would like drive. In my home, my parents have car. So, I will ask my parents to lend me their car. (171 words)

Book review 15 "Kim's Choice"

I was read Kim's Choice. It was difficult story. I can understand Kim's thought, but I can also understand her father's thought. Kim is sixteen years old, so she has a lot of thing which she want to do. But her father wants to bring up Kim's ability. I think her father is very distinguished but he should think about him daughter's mind more. If I was Kim's father, I would allow Kim's behavior. (75 words)

Book review 14 "Julia Roberts"

I read "Julia Roberts". I know a little about her. She is Hollywood star! And she is very beautiful. Maybe she appeared to "Oceans Eleven". It was very interesting story.
But I could know more about Julia Roberts, after I read this book. She experienced a lot of terrible life. Her father died when she was young, I think she was sad.
She has beautiful smile. But behind the smile she is not always happy. Her movie is almost big hit. But sometimes her movie is not.
I hope that she will appear more movies, and flourish in future. (99 words)

Book review 13 "THE WHITE ORYX"

I read “The White Oryx”. It was very exciting and I could enjoy this story.
This is the story about White Oryx. I like wild animal, so it is very interesting story for me. Four people appear in this story. Mandy Brown, she takes Oryx’s photo, and writing a book. Abdullah is an Oryx ranger. He is very intelligent man about white Oryx. Policemen and poachers also appear in this story.
Some times, I take photos of wild animals like dog, cats, and birds with my cell phone camera. Cell phone camera is very useful for me. Some times, I can take best shot. It is very valuable shot for me.
I would like to take rare wild animals some day. (121 words)
